Trista Detling joins Paganelli Law Group

Trista Detling is a paralegal supporting the attorneys at Paganelli Law Group.

She provides support in civil litigation, real estate, and business litigation, including maintaining electronic files, managing calendars, coordinating client communications, drafting documents, conducting legal research, and filing. Trista has been doing paralegal work for the past four years, previously working in the areas of personal injury and criminal law in both pre-litigation and litigation.

Before her paralegal career, Trista worked in the medical field for 20 years as a medical assistant, working with medical records and teaching medical billing and coding. During her career in the medical field, an impactful experience reshaped her path. She became the guardian of a minor and spent eight months navigating a highly contested guardianship case, ultimately realizing her true calling outside of medicine.

She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in legal studies with a focus in paralegal from Purdue Global.

Outside of work, Trista enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and son, and their dogs.
