Ryan Farner is an experienced trial attorney focusing on business litigation. For much of his nearly 20-year career, he has represented both plaintiffs and companies in a variety of civil litigation matters ranging from serious personal injury cases to complex business matters.
Ryan also works as a jury and trial consultant. He founded Modern Litigation Strategies, a trial strategy firm that consults on complex cases, picks juries, conducts focus groups and mock trials, and teaches seminars on trial skills and tactics.
He is admitted and licensed to practice in Florida, California, and Indiana and is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana. Ryan helps further the legal profession through his roles as an adjunct professor at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, teaching trial advocacy, and as a member of the board and faculty for ICLEF's Trial Skills College.
Ryan was born and raised in Fort Wayne, where he attended Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in public relations with a minor in psychology. He then attended IU's Robert H. McKinney School of Law for his juris doctor.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys reading, painting, visiting art museums, and playing very average games of golf.
