Tom Perkins

With more than 20 years of experience, Tom Perkins advises private-sector clients on entity formation and structure, strategic contracting, litigation, real estate transactions, zoning matters, and risk mitigations. Tom helps municipalities and public sector clients with APRA compliance, procurements, and planning.

Prior to PLG, Tom served as contracts counsel at the Indiana Public Retirement System, where he negotiated both investment and procurement contracts, drafted and implemented personnel policies, and more. He also worked at the Office of the Attorney General and later served as Assistant City Attorney for the city of Carmel, Indiana.

Many of Tom's written articles have been published, featuring new legislation, cyber security, appellate opinions, and more. He has taught Criminal Law and Procedure to several Marion County Sheriff's Department recruit classes.
